Grew up in the town of Lebanon Oregon in the early 70's. It doesn't seem that long ago, but the grey hair in my beard tells a different tale. I love the Willamette Valley, so many wonderful places and people. My wife, Kim and I after relocating to Puyallup Washington decided after the birth of our second child, Kenadie to move back home. We have been in the area since 2001. I've heard it told that Lebanon is the best kept secret in Oregon. It's about 90 min from everything, mountains, ocean and the city. We have truly found a place to call home; this wasn't always the case. Kim and I got married my Senior year at Portland Bible College in 1994, in the fall of 1995 we moved to Puyallup Washington to help with a church plant sent out of Lebanon. We loved Washington, both kids were born there and we were in love with our community. I was a young and ambitious Store Manager with Safeway and was finding the career both fulfilling and challenging. We were in discussion with our Pastor about being sent out on a church plant when our direction changed completely. To make a much longer story short, here we are in Lebanon, back home.
Pastoring the River Center is full of blessings and opportunities, I actually love them both.
